How it Started
Richard stated well it may be a long shot but I've just brought an old 80's Fire Engine, it could be converted to sell beer.

Welcome to The Beer Engine

The Story so far ...

The Norfolk Beer Engine began its life as a fire engine in the 1980's, serving the town of Aidlingen in Baden-Wurttemburg, southwest Germany. Richard acquired it from a friend who had bought it several years previously with the idea of converting it into a camper van. Chatting with friends over a few beers, the discussion turned to how to promote local beers, and it was from here that the seed of an idea was sown - to convert the fire engine so that it could sell beer.

The Conversion

So began the restoration and conversion, which was lovingly carried out by Richard over many months. After a lot of hard work, the Norfolk Beer Engine was born! What could be better than a mobile beer engine, ready to serve refreshing cold beer on tap?!
